Mide Martins, a Nollywood actress, has commemorated the 21st anniversary of her mother’s passing, Funmilayo Martins.
On her Instagram page, Mide Martins shared a video of a prayer service she held for her mother, which was attended by her colleagues and notable figures, including her husband Afeez Owo, MC Oluomo, the Chairman of Lagos State Parks, Adebayo Tijani, Ijebu, and others.
In remembrance of her late mother, Mide Martins offered prayers for her beautiful soul to rest in peace, while also expressing that her mother will forever be alive in her heart.

She stated, “Rest on my mama!! 21 years remembrance of late Funmi Martins. May your beautiful soul continue to be in peace. You will forever remain alive in our hearts. Oluwafunmilayo Florence Anike Martins. Love you till eternity, my mother”.

Afeez Owo, a Yoruba actor and filmmaker who is married to actress Mide Martins, has revealed the causes that nearly ended his marriage a few years ago. Recall that his wife alleged on social media in 2016 that her spouse had abandoned her and their children.
Owo didn’t try to avoid the catastrophe that once wrecked his marriage in an interview with Sunday Scoop. His wife, on the other hand, he claims, took the wrong advise from pals who intended to wreck chaos in their home.
“There will always be issues in a home,” the filmmaker added, “but it depends on how you address them.” Friends nearly destroyed our marriage, and my wife was given bad advice. She still regrets everything she did or said as we speak. Couples will always argue, but they do not have to inform their neighbors. We’ve all made errors and learned from them. We no longer pray for that.”
