Smith Akôm Takema of Benue state, Nigeria, described meeting an unenrolled youngster at a restaurant in Gboko in a Facebook post.
Smith proceeded to the restaurant where the unidentified primary school student from Prison Primary School Gboko was dining. He was looking for money to build a church’s Sunday school there.
The teenager explained that he was expelled from school because he hadn’t paid his tuition when Smith questioned him about why he wasn’t in class during school hours.

While advising parents to exercise caution and prevent their children from turning become professional beggars at such a young age, Smith Akôm raised some money to pay the boy’s school tuition.
“I have increased the costs, and I’m heading over there right once to pay them so he can get back to his studies. Parents should exercise caution and not allow their kids to beg for money in a formal manner like this; instead, the church should select youngsters who are in need of sponsorship.
