Toni Kroos, a midfielder for Real Madrid, is expected to stay at the Bernabeu for a while, according to manager Carlo Ancelotti.
Since joining the Blancos from Bayern Munich in the summer of 2014, the 32-year-old has been a standout in the midfield. However, he is now in the final six months of his contract.

Even with the arrivals of Eduardo Camavinga and Aurelien Tchouameni, as well as the uncertainty surrounding his contract, Kroos has continued to play a significant role in Ancelotti’s midfield this year.
Manchester City is reportedly mulling a move for the Germany international should Los Blancos extend the player’s contract.
At a press conference, Ancelotti assured reporters that Kroos would sign new contracts with Real Madrid, saying: “He’s quite sure about it and will be very clear in the next month.”
When asked about his future with Real Madrid in November, Kroos—who turns 33 on Tuesday—confirmed his plans to hang up his boots at the Bernabeu.
He did not, however, sign a new contract, instead assuring the press that he was “quite well and physically feeling terrific. Regarding my [contract] renewal, I’m very at ease.
“Even I don’t know what will happen. So that none of you become overly anxious, we’ll decide before March, he assured reporters.
“I will retire here, but I’m not sure when. Nothing new needs to be reported.”
The former Bayern playmaker has now appeared 384 times for Real Madrid in all competitions, contributing 87 assists in addition to his 26 goals for the Spanish giants.
In 19 games this season for Ancelotti’s squad, Kroos has contributed one goal and four assists. He has started five Champions League games and played the full 90 minutes in their 2-0 La Liga victory over Real Valladolid on Friday.
18 significant awards have been won by the German throughout his tenure at the Bernabeu, including four Champions League titles, three La Liga titles, and four Club World Cup victories.
The customary midfield partner of Kroos, Luka Modric, may possibly leave Real Madrid in the summer as a free agent, although a short-term contract is anticipated from the Croatian veteran in the coming months.
Real Madrid, who are currently second in the La Liga standings and behind Barcelona only on goal differential, claim that Modric has turned down the opportunity to join Cristiano Ronaldo at Al-Nassr.
