Unai Emery, a former manager of both Paris Saint-Germain and Arsenal, has ushered in a new era for Villa, and Gerrard has now secured his next position after a poor run in the West Midlands.

Gerrard’s new position is with online gaming site M88 Mansion, despite being linked to several managerial positions, including those at Wigan Athletic and Besiktas. The former Liverpool player will serve as a “brand ambassador” for the bookmaker as he waits to hear about any potential management positions in sport.

Before the tournament, Gerrard discussed his decision to accept the position and expressed how “delighted” he was to have the chance to do so after being named the organization’s first official ambassador for the event. I’m thrilled to join M88 Mansion as their World Cup brand ambassador, said Gerrard.

“I couldn’t be more eager to share my insights and opinions with the Asian sports enthusiasts about the next World Cup,” the athlete exclaimed.

The ambassador’s job description is to “focus on strengthening the firm’s positions in the Southeast Asian market and communicate with local sports and soccer enthusiasts through digital channels and various promotional events customized to regional tastes,” according to the corporation.
