Ronaldo plans to leave Old Trafford in January after failing to find a deal during the previous transfer window, according to the Mirror.
Ruben Amorim, the manager of Sporting, stated earlier last week that the club is “dreaming” of re-signing worldwide superstar Cristiano Ronaldo, who departed the club in 2003.
Sporting has reportedly offered United a “compromise” after Amorim revealed that the Lisbon club “don’t have the money to pay his wages.”
With Sporting paying the remainder, the deal would see “United offering Ronaldo a pay-off on a piece of his £500,000-a-week income.”
