Draw outcomes for the 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup - OFFICIAL
2023 FIFA Women's World Cup 1

Australia and New Zealand will host the FIFA Women’s World Cup in 2023 from Thursday, July 20, to Sunday, August 20, 2023.

Recall that Hulswit and Henryโ€™s goals in the 11th and 33rd minutes were sufficient to eliminate the Super Falconet from the competition. The Nigerian defense wasnโ€™t up to par; they committed a couple mistakes that resulted in the goals.

The Super Falconet miraculously matched the performance of the Super Eagles of Nigeria, who were in Cameroon earlier this year, after their 2-0 setback. Both teams finished with nine points, were group leaders, and only allowed one goal to each other.

After a strong showing in the group round, the Falconet were considered favorites to win the U20 womenโ€™s world cup championship, much like the Super Eagles, however they were unable to advance past the quarterfinals. Remember how the Super Eagles team from Austin, Texas, lost to Tunisia in the quarterfinals despite winning all three of their group matches.
