A man claiming to be an Uber driver was viciously beaten and pepper sprayed at close range by LNSC (Lagos Neighbourhood Safety Corps) personnel and police officers in a video that has gone viral. Despite his protestations, about five officers surrounded him.
Celebrities such as Don Jazzy and Mr.Macaroni had tagged the governor of Lagos state in the video, revealing the oppression that comes with being a Nigerian citizen. Adding that the video provides a sliver of evidence that the truth regarding police brutality against unarmed civilians cannot be altered.
Don Jazzy believes the Nigerian government should not dispute that, based on the footage, police officers pepper-sprayed a man in the eyes at close range.
Don Jazzy: They’ll tell us tomorrow that no cop sprayed pepper spray directly into a man’s eyes. @jidesanwoolu #endsars

We have all been dehumanized, brutalized, and oppressed in some way. Sir, you’ve held a lot of events in the last week. You stated that your government cares about youth and wants to help them. Is this the assistance, sir?
Someone is making a living off of labor that the hover did not produce, as @djbign pointed out. It makes my heart break. The only distinction between them is the clothing they wear and the weapons they carry. I wish they realized how much better their children’s and own futures could be if they just let our voices be heard. To put it bluntly, it’s horrible.
My gosh, wrote @kunleremiofficial.
