The 2022–23 Premier League season has gotten off to a fantastic start for Arsenal.

After drawing with Tottenham and Aston Villa and most recently losing to Liverpool, second-place Manchester City is now four points behind Arsenal at the top of the Premier League.
Many believe that the north Londoners will be Man City’s key title challenger this season after their outstanding start.
Former player Jermaine Pennant, though, predicts a significant decline after Christmas and believes Arsenal won’t even finish in the top four;
“I think that after Christmas, Arsenal will cookie disintegrate like they did the year before to drop out of the Champions League spots,” Pennant said in a statement to talkSPORT.
What Arteta has accomplished at Arsenal, compared to where they were two or three seasons ago and where they are now, is just remarkable, he added.
“We are praising Arsenal highly for where they are headed and their performance during the first ten games. But the real question is whether they will keep doing that after Christmas.
Many teams have been known to start off well before quickly losing steam once the Christmas season and the flurry of games arrive.
