With Essense, a track from Wizkid’s Made In Lagos album, which was released in 2020, resonating with Nigerians and those outside the country, Ayo Balogun Wizkid has shocked many of his fans and followers with a recent statement in which he admitted that Essence isn’t his favorite track from his recent album.
Wizkid said this during an exclusive interview with Complex Tv, in which he discussed the importance of the 2020 album to him.

The project is dear to the Star Boy, and each song on it was written with passion, according to him; nonetheless, Big Wiz stated that Essence is not his favorite song on the album.
Wizkid mentioned that “Blessed” and “True Love” are his favorite tracks on MIL, claiming that he cannot choose between them because they are both valuable to him.
Wizkid collaborated with Darmian Marley on Blessed, while he collaborated with Tay Iwar and Projexxx on True Love.
The Nigerian music sensation is presently on a music tour in the United States, where he has drawn a large number of celebrities.
