Sadio Mane is having trouble settling in at Bayern Munich.
Hasan Salihamidzic, the sporting director at Bayern Munich, has urged supporters to have patience with Sadio Mane.

The head of Bayern Munich thinks it will only be a matter of time before the 30-year-old Senegalese international, who joined the Bavarians in the summer after leaving Liverpool, recovers his finest form.

Before agreeing to a £35 million transfer to Bayern in June, Mane played a key role in Liverpool’s team for six years and captured every major prize on the table.

After a promising start to the season, Mane has struggled for consistency later in the year, sparking rumors that he is dissatisfied with his new club. However, Salihamidzic has dismissed these rumors, saying that Mane is still adjusting to his new club.

Salihamidzic was cited by Bild as saying, “Sadio still needs a little time, he has to get used to the Bundesliga as well, but he will.”

Mane not only found the back of the net in the German Super Cup and German Cup, but also in his first three league outings.

He hasn’t scored in his previous four league games, though, and in his two appearances for the team in the Champions League, he hasn’t really had an impact.

The 30-year-old Senegalese attacker has also been replaced frequently lately, a practice that wasn’t common when he was playing at Anfield.

Hasan Salihamidzic, the director of Bayern Munich, thinks Sadio Mane’s best is yet to come for the Bavarians.
Dietmar Hamann, a former midfielder for Liverpool, recently claimed that Mane doesn’t appear to be pleased at Bayern and that this is because the Senegalese star is playing out of position and hasn’t been effectively ‘integrated’ into the club.

Salihamidzic, however, disagrees with Hamaan’s assertion and believes Mane should immediately demonstrate his talent for the Bundesliga winners.

On Friday, September 30, 2022, Mane makes his comeback to the field for fifth-placed Bayern Munich in the Bundesliga as they host Bayer Leverkusen at the Allianz Arena.
