Dele Momodu, a veteran journalist, has called out Fuji artist King Wasiu Ayinde Marshal, also known as Kwam1, for lying and disrespecting the Olowu of Iwo, Oba Rasheed Adewale Akanbi.
Kwam1 was seen in a now-deleted video on his page greeting and congratulating the Oba Rasheed and whining about not being invited to a recent function given by the monarch.

Kwam1 chastised the monarch for failing to notify Dele Momodu about the ceremony.
In response, Dele Momodu described the video as a total open disrespect to the king and recounted his interactions with Kwam1.
According to Dele Momondu, he invited Kwam to perform at the ceremony on October 2nd, 2021, for an agreed-upon sum, but the singer never responded to his invitation to attend the event.
Dele Momodu went on to say that he invited Kwam1’s manager to breakfast and requested him to meet with the artist and clarify performance protocols, but he never received a response.
Dele Momodu, who was dissatisfied with Kwam1’s actions in the video, described them as “extremely sad” and deserving of open censure.
He wrote: “A friend in Abuja just forwarded this video to me, and I’m extremely shocked, to say the least, by King Wasui Ayinde’s blatant OPEN contempt of the Oluwo of Iwoland Oba Abudulrashed Adewale Akanbi, a great artist I endlessly adore and hold in the highest regard.”
Alhaji, I personally invited and begged you to perform at the event on October 2, 2021 for an agreed-upon sum, but you didn’t say yes or no, only that you were likely to travel.
Again, I invited your manager, Mr Kunle Rasheed, to breakfast and requested him to speak with you and confirm performance methodologies… What happened in this video, Egbon, is really bad and deserves to be openly condemned.
