Sylvester Roy Mphephu has been listed as a person of interest in the death of Palesa, his 28-year-old lover.
In the wee hours of September 5 in Edenvale, Gauteng, the South African man allegedly battered his girlfriend into submission before dropping her off at a hospital and running away.
He abandoned her while she was in a severe condition, and while he is still at large, she tragically passed away from the injuries.
