Scott Parker, the manager of Bournemouth, has been fired as a result of the team’s 9-0 defeat against Liverpool.
In a statement issued on Tuesday, the English team revealed the firing.
Parker left the Cherries a few days after Liverpool humiliated the team.

Even though the team defeated Aston Villa on the first day of the season, they gave up 16 goals in the three games that followed against Arsenal, Manchester City, and Liverpool.
The freshly promoted team added in the statement that while Gary O’Neil assumes the position of temporary manager, the search for a new coach will start right away.
The statement reads, “AFC Bournemouth can announce that the club has parted ways with head coach Scott Parker.”
“Maxim Demin added, “I would want to officially express my appreciation to Scott and his crew for their work while they were here. The final campaign of his career will always be regarded as one of our most successful campaigns in history thanks to our promotion back to the Premier League.
“However, it is essential that we are in agreement on our plan to manage the club sustainably if we are to continue improving as a team and a Club as a whole. We also need to respect and believe in one another. We won’t deviate from the strategy that has helped this team achieve such great success in previous years. We’ll start looking for a new head coach right away.
“Gary O’Neil will serve as the team’s temporary manager, with Shaun Cooper and Tommy Elphick by his side.”
Parker joined Bournemouth on the same day he left Fulham in June of last year.
In his first season in command, he led the team to the Premier League.
