Former international Mutiu Adepoju is confident that the Falconets, the Nigerian U-20 women’s team, will defeat their opponents in the quarterfinals.

The claim was made in an interview with the New Telegraph of Nigeria by the current brand ambassador of the Spanish La Liga for Nigeria.

“Both the coaches and the team, in my opinion, are performing admirably. It has to do with the teams, leagues they compete in, and everything else. Since La Liga is a partner of the women’s league and the majority of these players play at home in Nigeria, we are continuing to support the league as best we can. We expect to see them take home the trophy if things keep going well.” He spoke.
He continued by discussing the team’s chances before their quarterfinal match.
“Yes. They have triumphed over South Korea, Canada, and France. With the degree of confidence they currently possess, everything is possible, and I hope they succeed.” When asked if he thought the squad will win, Adepoju responded.
The former Real Sociedad player claimed that Coach Christopher Danjuma possessed the necessary motivational skills to inspire the club to success.
