Burnaboy, a.k.a. Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu, was the first African to host the BillBoard Music Awards. He was the first African artist to perform at the Grammys, BRIT Awards, and Bet Hip Hop Awards. BurnaBoy has been shattering records since resuming his career in 2018. He just released his first song of the year, “Last Last,” from his upcoming fifth studio album, Love, Damini, which will be released on July 2nd.
He was the first African artist to sell out New York City’s Madison Square Garden. BurnaBoy has been breaking records and selling out arenas. He recently played at the BillBoard Music Awards, where he sang his new track “Last Last” as well as his other single “Kilometer.” Burnaboy refers to himself as the African Giant, and he never fails to remind us why.
