As Nigeria celebrates its 61st independence day today, Annie Idibia, a Nollywood actress and wife of the legendary singer 2face Idibia, has made an intriguing disclosure.
The Actress, who has envisaged a better Nigeria amidst the several calamities the country has faced, adorned herself in a green and white fur gown to indicate her participation in celebrating the country’s freedom from external control.
She hoped and prayed that one day, when we can proudly tell to the world that our country is free of endless kidnappings, killings, hunger, poverty, bad health care, electricity supply, religious and ethnic crises, she might assuage fans’ fears about the country’s regressive effects.

Then, and only then, do we become authentic Nigerians, as our nationalists fought tooth and nail for the country’s emancipation in 1960.
