Italy defender Giorgio Chiellini is set to call time on his international career this summer. The 37-year-old will play his final game for his country against Argentina at Wembley, the scene of Italy’s European Championship victory last year. Chiellini is joint-fifth on the list of Italy’s most-capped players alongside Andrea Pirlo with 116 appearances for his country.

Speaking on the reason to retire at Wembley Stadium, London, the Juventus defender said:
โWhere I experienced the pinnacle of my career winning the Euros.
โIโd like to say goodbye to the Azzurri with a nice memory. That will certainly be my last game with Italy.โ
