Popular Skales, a Nigerian artist who recently walked down the aisle with his woman, Precious, in a private wedding, has opened up about how he fought despair over fellow singer Wizkid in an interview.

In an interview with Glam Squad Magazine, Skales revealed this. “I proposed to Precious earlier this year after I had conquered the despair and mental health concerns I had had as a result of what I had thought was a slow pace to his career,” Skales says.
Skales and Wizkid were both signed to Banky W’s EME Records label, which is still active today.
Wizkid’s career, on the other hand, appears to have flown ahead of Scales’, prompting several detractors to continuously throw him under the bus.
Skales is the stage name of Raoul John Njeng-Njeng, a Nigerian rapper, singer, and composer. He began writing rap songs in Kaduna, Nigeria, around the year 2000. He traveled to Jos in 2007 and 2008 to work with Jesse Jagz and Jeremiah Gyang.
