This comes just over a year after Yomi Fabiyi divorced his oyinbo wife Fran. They married in 2012 but divorced nine years later in 2021.

Yomi Fabiyi used his Instagram profile to announce the good news, posting a video of himself dancing with the baby and thanking God. He expressed himself as follows:
We just delivered a BOUNCING BABY BOY to God’s glory. I am grateful to God Almighty, physicians, my parents (both sides) and mama Toyin Afolayan lola idije1959, friends, and neighbors for their unwavering support. I hope you’re doing well, Mum, wherever you are now. You’ve returned to being a grandmother.
