“All I wanted to do was get married,” Akindele-Bello explained. “I want to do things properly, have a family, and so on.” And when I entered my first marriage, it didn’t work out. And it all came to a head in social media, where the noise was all over the place. I was in the middle of filming when someone called and said, “I want to die!”
“As a young lady out there, do not be pressurized to get married,” Akindele-Bello said to young ladies. Get married because you want to, because you love him, and because you want to spend the rest of your life with him. Have children because you want to have children, you want to be blessed with children, and you love children, not because mummy and daddy say so or because your friend recently got married.
