Nollywood actress Funke Akindele and her colleague Toyin Abraham have been at odds for some time now over matters that are undisclosed to their fans.
Toyin Abraham and Funke Akindele’s feud became public after fans noted she avoids her at birthday festivities and refuses to engage with her or her close friends, including Iyabo Ojo.
Many moviegoers were also astonished when Funke Akindele chose to release her film ‘Omo Ghetto the Saga’ on the same day that Toyin Abraham’s film ‘Ghost and the Tout’ began screening in cinemas across Nigeria.

Because of this conflict, many fans of both actresses were forced to choose between seeing ‘The Ghost and the Tout’ at the cinema or seeing ‘Omo Ghetto the Saga’ on NETFLIX.
However, an Instagram blogger claims that Funke Akindele has been spitting on Toyin Abraham in front of other Nollywood actors on several occasions.
According to the blogger, Funke Akindele threatened to cease working with a well-known stylist if she attempted to style Toyin Abraham.
Toyin Abraham cried when she learned of this, claiming that she had no problem with Funke Akindele or beefing with her for any reason.
According to the blogger, a well-known producer wanted to cast Funke Akindele and Toyin Abraham in a film project, but Funke declined since she did not want to work with Toyin.
To be honest, some elders may need to call Funke and Toyin and rectify whatever is coded brewing, the blogger added.
I adore both of them. Anything Toyin or Funke, especially Funke, has my support. Scene one, we’ve arrived, says Funke. Funke exclaims, “Netflix omo!” and grabs the front seat. I’ll pay for pals and close instafams, adds Funke, and I’ll pay for the cinema. I don’t care about the topic as long as it’s Funke.
But, my dear Funke, she needs to examine some of her attitudes, particularly the things she says to people about others, particularly her coworkers.
There is an accurate gist of Funke informing a famous stylist that if she dares to style Toyin, Funke will cease working with her. Guess what, when Funke gave her one of her gas Gbos attitudes [even if the stylist was at fault], the gist spread like wildfire. Toyin, according to our sources, heard about it and nearly cried because she insists she has no issues with Funke.
Another instance was when a “renowned producer” sought to cast both Funke and Toyin in a film project. According to reports, Funke warned the producer, “If you cast Toyin, I’m not going to be on this movie.”
Wow! Guess what? From Funke’s mouth to producer’s ears and then from Producer’s mouth eventually to Toyin and everyone’s ears including bloggers.
These are a few real-life situations that happened and it’s not healthy. It’s making to see Funke always pointed in the wrong in all these. Especially for some of us who are fans of her act.
Come on na, Funke darling, please kindly stop it. Stop talking. Leave people to mingle with who they want to mingle with. Maybe you might not have said everything but you saying 1 can be switched up to you saying 100. The sky they say is big enough for all.
