He wrote, “I beg you, in the name of GOD, please read all the way to the finish!” As filmmakers, we sometimes struggle to understand what you, our adoring audience, really want from us. Our job is one in which God and you, your acceptance of what we do, are both essential to our success.
We’ve recently been advised that you only want comedy films in theaters and on other platforms.
Some of us do not consider humor stories to be our vocation or something we should provide you with on a regular basis, and a few have gotten their fingers burned in the process of providing you with comedy at any costs, and they have gotten it completely wrong!
But, respectfully said, as a writer/producer/director, you know where my ink is more blessed. Those who have watched GBARADA may attest to the fact that we can still dive deep.
