Toyin Abraham Ajeyemi, a well-known actress and filmmaker, has spoken out about how she overcame her fears and melancholy years ago.
“I started listening to music, I spoke to my manager,” Toyin Abraham revealed in an interview with media personality Chude Jideonwo. I told him he had to take up my calls all the time because I needed to talk to someone. As a result, that was extremely beneficial to me. He found me a counselor, who came from America, and she keeps calling me to tell me how lovely I am. I’ve decided to modify everyone around me, as well as some aspects of myself.
I had to give up some habits and adjust some aspects of my personality since I realized they weren’t benefiting me.
I had to make new friends and was constantly communicating with my manager. I began reading novels as well as my Bible. That’s how I felt.
“Once I see the camera, everything about me opens up,” the cheery actress stated when asked how she was able to cope with acting while she was miserable. I am depressed once the camera has left. Depression isn’t nice, but it did assist me a bit because I know I’ll always be unhappy, so when I’m on set, I’ll act and try to impress myself so that when I get to the hotel or home, I can think of something else, but it didn’t work.”
