Queen Dami, the estranged wife of Oba Lamidi Adeyemi, Alaafin of Oyo, has made a special pronouncement for 2022.
This comes months after Gistlovers, an Instagram blogger, claimed that Queen Dami was denied access to the palace despite her public apology to the king and the entire royal family.
Queen Dami published photographs of her new look on Instagram, noting that the year 2022 is for hope, healing, and light.

Queen Dami hasn’t given up hope of returning to the palace.
2022 is a year of hope, healing, and light, she stated.
According to reports, Queen Damilola was imprisoned for reportedly breaking a palace rule, an act that prompted her to divorce her husband and flee the palace to Lagos in April 2021.
Damilola became homeless a few days after leaving the place, until some concerned Nigerians decided to donate money to help her find a suitable place to live and restart her life.
However, in a video published by Instagram blogger Gistlovers on May 31, 2021, a guy said that the king routinely delivers meal allowances to queen Dami after she leaves the palace.
The man also said that the Alaafin rented an apartment to Dami’s mother.
The queen’s ex-wife, on the other hand, rejected the story, claiming that she paid for her mother’s rent and her son’s school tuition with money donated by well-meaning Nigerians.
The blogger asked Dami if she would return to the palace after the monarch’s assertions in a discussion.
