“In September, I asked the coach not to call me up. I had just arrived in Madrid and had an extremely short vacation. The coach insisted that I come, but it didn’t go well. Still, it’s the French team, and I remain committed.
“In October, I was injured. Those decisions were made between the medical staffs, and the coach decided it was better not to include me. Then came November. I wanted to join the squad, but I can’t say why I wasn’t selected. That’s the coach’s decision, and I respect it. He’s the boss.”
