Real Madrid winger Vinicius Junior has criticized UEFA after being sidelined by an injury that will keep him out of Wednesday night’s Champions League clash against Liverpool.
The LaLiga champions confirmed that Vinicius is dealing with a hamstring issue and is expected to be out of action for the next three weeks. The Brazilian has expressed frustration over the demanding fixture schedule, blaming it for his setback.
Although Vinicius played a full 90 minutes in Real Madrid’s 3-0 win over Leganes on Sunday, he will miss the trip to Merseyside due to “an injury to the biceps femoris in his left leg.”
