Real Madrid held their first training session of the November international break on Tuesday, with eight players missing: seven due to injury and Kylian Mbappé joining the academy players to help complete the session.

In total, 15 players were unavailable for Italian coach Carlo Ancelotti, including Fran García, who trained in the gym as a precaution, without pushing himself too hard, given that Real Madrid’s next La Liga match is on November 24 against Leganés.

Of the absentees, eight were on international duty: Jude Bellingham (England), Antonio Rüdiger (Germany), Eduardo Camavinga (France), Luka Modrić (Croatia), Arda Güler (Turkey), Vinícius Jr. (Brazil), Fede Valverde (Uruguay), and Brahim Díaz (Morocco). The remaining seven were sidelined due to injury: Aurélien Tchouaméni, Thibaut Courtois, David Alaba, Lucas Vázquez, Rodrygo Goes, Dani Carvajal, and Éder Militão.

Of the injured players, only Éder Militão was not present at the Valdebebas training complex, as he is set to undergo surgery for the anterior cruciate ligament tear in his right knee suffered last Saturday against Osasuna.

With so many players unavailable, and Mbappé missing from Didier Deschamps’ France squad for the second consecutive time, Ancelotti called upon academy players to help complete the session.
