Alphonso Davies is open to considering an approach from Manchester United if they are willing to meet his wage demands, according to reports.
As he approaches the final six months of his contract with Bayern Munich, the left-back has yet to agree on an extension, with financial issues reportedly causing the delay. With just two months left to negotiate with overseas clubs, interest in Davies is growing. Manchester United recently entered the fray, alongside Barcelona, but Real Madrid remains the frontrunner for his signature.
While Madrid is favored to secure Davies, Christian Falk suggests that a move to Spain is not guaranteed. In fact, Davies would be willing to entertain United’s offer if they show readiness to meet his salary expectations of around €20 million (£16.7 million) per season.

Although Davies seems to prefer a move to Madrid, the Spanish club needs to present a competitive offer to the Canadian international, whose negotiations with Bayern have stalled after the Bundesliga leaders hesitated at his financial requirements.
Madrid previously lost out to United during the summer when the Red Devils signed center-back Leny Yoro, who was also expected to join Madrid. United offered a higher salary than Madrid was willing to pay, largely because Yoro was entering the final year of his contract and could be signed for free in 2025, similar to the situation with Davies. This potential for signing the left-back without a transfer fee could prompt Madrid to be more flexible with their financial offer.
