The Honourable Minister of Sports Development has reaffirmed that the government is taking decisive steps to address the recent challenges faced by the Super Eagles during their international outing in Libya. This was revealed in a statement by the Minister’s spokesperson, Diana Mary Nsan, on Wednesday. Speaking on the issue, the Sports Minister said, “The Federal Government is fully aware of the situation involving our Super Eagles in Libya. We want to assure Nigerians that we are not taking this matter lightly. The welfare and security of our athletes are paramount, and we will take all necessary steps to prevent such occurrences in the future.”
