Nigeria was initially set to face the Mediterranean Knights of Libya in Benina tonight, but the match was postponed by the Confederation of African Football (CAF). The postponement followed concerns over the mistreatment of Super Eagles players by Libyan authorities.
In the match between Rwanda and Benin, Andeas Hountondji gave Benin the lead three minutes before halftime at Amahoro Stadium. However, Rwanda fought back with goals from Innocent Nshuti and Djihad Bizimana to claim the win.
