The reality star cum actress wrote in a lengthy Instagram post that she has been working single-mindedly for the past year, almost like a robot, not thinking about how far she has come.

Erica stated that despite her confusion about her ambitions, all she wanted to do was make everyone around her proud, therefore her life was on a fast track, which eventually took its toll on her, and she chose to take a vacation to heal.

A loved one, on the other hand, questioned her about what she would tell herself, recalling her disqualification on September 6, 2020.

According to Erica, she was baffled as to how she managed to avoid thinking about any of the horrible events that occurred after her disqualification. Despite this, she talked to herself, forgiven herself, and praised herself.

Erica went on to say that in those moments of anxiety and grief, she promised herself that in a few months, she would be proud of herself and surrounded by so much love.

My life has been on fast forward for the past year, and it has been a lot. I’ve been working single-mindedly, almost like a robot, not thinking about how far I’ve come, just focusing on my goals, trying to outdo myself, trying to make everyone around me proud; my life has been on fast forward for the past year, and it has been a lot.

It took its toll on me, and I wanted to take a break to recover. I believed rest would suffice until a loved one asked me what I would tell Erica on September 6, 2020, and I couldn’t breathe.

I couldn’t figure out how I’d managed to avoid thinking about any of the horrible events that had occurred in the previous year. It was difficult for me to recall those times of terror and misery, but I did, and I spoke to Erica, forgiven her, and praised her.

I promised her that in a few months she would be proud of herself and surrounded by so much affection. I’m well again, and I’ve come a long way!! I want to express my gratitude to God, my loved ones, and my Elites. Words cannot express how much I appreciate you. @upfrontandpersonalbooking is my manager. Thank you, @multichoice group, and all of my housemates. I adore all of you.
