Anthony Joshua has been issued a 28-day suspension from boxing following his knockout defeat by Daniel Dubois last week. The British heavyweight was stopped in the fifth round in front of 96,000 fans at Wembley, as Dubois successfully retained his IBF heavyweight title.
Throughout the fight, Dubois knocked Joshua down four times. In line with protocol, the British Boxing Board of Control has enforced the mandatory 28-day ban to ensure Joshua’s recovery.
