Enzo Zidane, the eldest son of French football legend Zinedine Zidane, has announced his retirement from football at the age of 29.

After his recent stint with Fuenlabrada in the Primera RFEF, Enzo has decided to leave the sport to focus on his business ventures, as reported by beINSPORT.

His retirement marks the end of a career that didn’t quite live up to the expectations many had for him. Enzo spent over a decade training in Real Madrid’s academy and made his first-team debut in November 2016, under the management of his father, during a Copa del Rey match against Cultural Leonesa.
