Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca has outlined the positions for several players in his squad.
Maresca highlighted the range of attacking options during the 1-0 victory at Bournemouth last weekend, where Noni Madueke, Cole Palmer, Neto, and Nicolas Jackson all started.
With the match tied at 0-0, he brought on Christopher Nkunku, Joao Felix, and Sancho from the bench.

There has been some discussion about Neto’s role on the right wing, as the summer signing from Wolves has primarily played on the left due to Madueke’s impressive form this season.
Maresca clarified the situation:
“As left wingers, we have Jadon and Misha [Mudryk]. As right wingers, we have Noni and Pedro. In attacking midfield, we have Joao Felix and Cole. For the No. 9 position, we have Nicolas, Christo, and Marc. We don’t have many players; we have two for each position.”
