Galatasaray striker Victor Osimhen will not feature in their Turkish Super Lig match against Gaziantep FK on Tuesday evening.
The club announced this on their website on Monday, stating that Osimhen, along with Ismail Jakobs and Roland Sallai, will miss the game at RAMS Park.
According to the statement, “Victor Osimhen, Ismail Jakobs, and Roland Sallai, who were signed after the original match date, will not be included in the squad due to their registration status.”

The match was originally scheduled for the third matchday but was postponed. Since Osimhen, Jakobs, and Sallai were not registered at that time, they are ineligible for the rescheduled game.
Osimhen, who made his Galatasaray debut against Çaykur Rizespor last weekend, will have to wait for his next appearance. The 25-year-old’s first major test in the Süper Lig will come next weekend when Galatasaray faces Jose Mourinho’s Fenerbahçe at Şükrü Saracoğlu Stadium.
