Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca has stated that the club will only sign players who agree to their conditions.

Maresca addressed the media following their unsuccessful attempt to secure a striker during the summer transfer window. Although Chelsea pursued Napoli’s Victor Osimhen, the deal fell through, reportedly due to Osimhen’s reluctance to accept a pay cut.

Maresca managed to sign Marc Guiu, a teenage striker from Barcelona, while Nicolas Jackson remains the team’s first-choice forward.

After the 1-1 draw with Crystal Palace on Sunday, Maresca remarked, “We want players who meet our conditions. If a player doesn’t agree to those terms, then it wasn’t meant to be. As for bringing in a new striker in January, we’ll see.”
