Nollywood actor Ninalowo Bolanle had some pensive thoughts to share recently about emotional abuse, and it was well detailed.
In his post on Instagram, Ninalowo Bolanle wrote;
”With isolation, a narciss*st puts you in a state of learned helplessness where they have complete control. Resistance doesnt work anymore.
You’ve given up regaining control and have gone into survival mode. At this point, you might start to get depressed and feel incompetent or even dabble in substance abuse to escape your reality.
Now the narciss*st has you where they want you: complete dependence and a total loss of self-identity.

Ninalowo Bolanle didn’t just stop at explaining how a person with narciss*stic personality disorder acts and what emotional abuse feels like, as he went on to discuss in full detail about what narcissism means, and what it looks like.
”The term narciss*st gets thrown around too easily these days, and many people interpret it as somebody who is merely self centered and arrogant.
However, the true meaning goes far deeper than that. There are several different types of narcissists, but they do have a few things in common, including a sense of entitlement, grandiosity, and a complete lack of empathy.
Due to a variety of factors that include childhood trauma, narciss*sts never developed a sense of self and were stunted emotionally at a very young age.
They have no way to derive self esteem from within, so they rely completely on the attention and validation of others to survive.
This is what’s known as narciss*stic supply, and their entire lives revolve around getting this from other people.
All narciss*sts are incapable of feeling or demonstrating real love or empathy, and they view people as obiects to be used to serve their needs.
They also all have a layer just under the surface of anger that can turn into
