Former Chelsea midfielder, John Obi Mikel, recently revealed that Romelu Lukaku was the player who consistently arrived late to training and matches during his early days at the Premier League club.

Mikel shared this during a visit to Chelsea’s training ground, Cobham Arena, as part of The Obi One Podcast.

Reflecting on Lukaku, the former Super Eagles captain said, “Romelu Lukaku was always late when he first arrived. He’s a lovely guy, and we had a chat about it. He realized he needed to improve his punctuality, and eventually, he sorted it out and was fine.”
