The transfer fee of £35 million has been settled with Atlético Madrid, facilitating Omorodion’s move to West London. This deal comes as Atlético Madrid moves closer to acquiring Julián Álvarez from Manchester City.

Chelsea’s search for a striker has included heavy links to Napoli’s Victor Osimhen throughout the summer, but Omorodion’s arrival will represent a significant future investment for the Blues.
