The club emphasized their commitment to closely monitoring his progress during this loan spell.

Anselmino’s signing is part of Chelsea’s broader strategy of investing in young talent with the potential for future first-team integration or profitable resale. This approach has become a hallmark of the club’s operations in recent years, focusing on building a robust pipeline of future stars.

Before joining Chelsea, Aaron Anselmino honed his skills in Argentina, starting in the youth setups of Juventud Unida and Sportivo Realico before moving to Boca Juniors at the age of 12.

He made his professional debut for Boca on June 10, 2023, against Lanús, the same day he signed his first professional contract.

Anselmino quickly made an impact, racking up ten appearances and scoring a decisive goal in the Copa Sudamericana against Trinidense.
