Iyabo Ojo, a Nollywood actress and activist, has taken to criticizing her millions of fans and followers, drawing comparisons between them and the Nigerian government.

The movie diva, who has been out of the country for a few days, expressed her anger at her followers for their fake love on her Instagram page. She pointed out how they are misleading her, just like the government of Nigeria.

Last week, Iyabo Ojo stirred reactions with her message to the president over the end bad governance protests. The activist had called out the President, noting how his silence was deafening and disheartening.

Iyabo stated that the country needed the president to address the nation, listen to their grievances and offer hope. She questioned if democracy isn’t about the people and for the people anymore if they can’t express their concerns and be heard.
