Manchester United announced on Thursday the official appointment of Rene Hake and Ruud van Nistelrooy as assistant managers for the men’s first team. Both coaches will work alongside head coach Erik ten Hag until June 2026.
In response, Ten Hag expressed his enthusiasm, noting that their addition would bring valuable experience, knowledge, and fresh energy to the coaching staff.
