Portable On March 12th, 1994, Omolalomi was born in the historic city of Abeokuta. A week after his birth, he was given the name Habeeb Okikiola. Mr. and Mrs. Okikiola, a Yoruba family, raised him in Ogun State, southwest Nigeria.

 

 

 

Portable Omolalomi and his brothers were raised by their parents in Abeokuta city, where they shared their father and mother’s Muslim beliefs. Because Portable Omolalomi grew up in Abeokuta, he was well-versed in Yoruba from an early age, as that was the language he used to communicate with his parents, classmates, neighbors, and extended family members.

 

 

 

Dr. Dre, Tupac Shakur, The Notorious B.I.G., and Snoop Dogg’s rap music, which he listened to on his father’s audio cassette player while still in elementary school, affected him. He was enamored with these musicians and began writing rap songs whenever he was motivated.

Portable Growing up, Omolalomi did not lose out on the opportunity to have a solid education.

His parents made sure that he was enrolled in the best public schools in Abeokuta for his elementary and secondary school studies.

 

Instead of pursuing his education at a university, he elected to attend a training center for vocational training.

 

Career

Portable Omolalomi relocated to Lagos State, Africa’s music capital, after recognizing that he would have a better chance of succeeding in the profession if he lived in the center of it.

 

Portable Omolalomi looked for producers with whom he could collaborate with in Lagos, as he was constantly producing new rap tracks. He continued to work as an artisan on the Lagos mainland from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. to pay his costs.

 

 

Despite the fact that he had recorded a few songs that did poorly monetarily, Portable Omolalomi remained unfazed in his ambition of becoming an A-list artist in the industry. He just happened to run into his music idol, Olamide, and luck was on his side. Portable wept violently as he bent down and grasped Olamide’s knees, overcome with despair.

 

Fortunately for Portable Omolalomi, Olamide saw his skill and offered him to join an ongoing partnership with dancer and recording artist Poco Lee. The song by Zazuu Zeh, which was released as part of the project, became an instant hit. The song, which has become popular in the industry because to its catchy lyrics and the term, Zazuu Zeh, has catapulted Portable into the spotlight.
