Buhari ordered the board at a brief ceremony at State House in Abuja to make additional investments that help economic diversification, as global oil prices are expected to fall to approximately $40 per barrel by 2030.

The president also stated that his administration is committed to executing long-term projects and programs that will help Nigerians find work. He claimed that the full impact of most of the strategic projects launched during his tenure would not be felt until long after he was gone.
