Manchester United officials have recently met with representatives of Ipswich Town manager Kieran McKenna. According to Sky Sports News, the meeting took place last week and included discussions with Manchester United’s new chief executive, Omar Berrada, and technical director, Jason Wilcox, about the possibility of McKenna taking over the first team.
McKenna is also garnering interest from Chelsea, another Premier League club.
Despite these discussions, Manchester United has not yet decided whether to sack current manager Erik ten Hag.

McKenna is part of a four-man shortlist for the position at United, alongside Mauricio Pochettino and former Bayern Munich boss Thomas Tuchel, both of whom are currently free agents.
Should United lose to Manchester City in the FA Cup final at Wembley, they will miss out on European football next season, following their eighth-place finish in the Premier League.
