Former Manchester United and Manchester City striker Carlos Tevez is currently in a “satisfactory” condition after being hospitalized with chest pains.
Tevez was admitted to a clinic in the San Isidro neighborhood of Buenos Aires on Tuesday, where he remained overnight for further medical assessments.
At 40 years old, Tevez now serves as the head coach of Argentine top-flight club Independiente, a role he assumed in August 2023 on a short-term basis before securing a contract extension until December 2026.

A statement from Independiente regarding Tevez’s health status stated: “Our coach, Carlos Tevez, was admitted to La Trinidad Hospital in San Isidro due to chest pain. Initial tests yielded satisfactory results. Today, he will undergo additional pre-scheduled tests as part of a routine check-up.”
Independiente later clarified that Tevez would remain hospitalized as a precautionary measure, with doctors planning to conduct further examinations.
Tevez boasts an illustrious career, representing Argentina 76 times over an 11-year span. His journey includes stints at Corinthians, West Ham United, Manchester United, Manchester City, Inter, Juventus, Boca Juniors, and a brief period in the Chinese Super League.
