Cute Abiola, a prominent Nigerian Instagram comedian whose true name is Abdulgafar Ahmad but who goes by the moniker Cute Abiola, reunited with his mother after being released from the Nigerian Navy’s custody.
According to TheTalkNG, the Nigerian comedian, who is also a Naval staff member, was held by the Navy for more than three weeks for violating the Armed Forces Social Media Policy.

Cute Abiola breached the Armed Forces Social Media Policy, which establishes rules for military personnel’s use of social media, including the extent to which members of their family are permitted to use social media.
Read one of the following cautions from the guidelines:
“Personnel should not share photos of themselves or their coworkers in military uniforms, or photos of military installations, platforms, or other military-related goods,” says the statement.
In one of his performances, Cute Abiola dressed up as a cop and “ridiculed the Nigeria Police in the process.”
His arrest, according to several of his supporters, was linked to an Instagram post he made on November 13.
He uploaded a video of himself in a military uniform with a weapon. The scene is from Funke Akindele’s comedy-drama ‘Jenifa’s Diary.’
The date is December 13, 2021. His automobile keys were returned to him and he was released to his family.

His mother was overjoyed to see her son again. People in the room were laughing as she lay on the floor shaking her head. Cute Abiola pushed her up to her feet and whispered,
“I miss you, Mummy,” says the child.
