UCL: Tuchel Affirms Bayern’s Injury Setback Following 2-2 Draw with Arsenal

Bayern Munich’s coach, Thomas Tuchel, has verified that Serge Gnabry sustained a hamstring injury during their 2-2 draw with Arsenal on Tuesday.

Gnabry equalized for the Bundesliga outfit after Bukayo Saka put the Gunners ahead in the first leg of the Champions League quarter-final.

However, he had to be substituted in the second half by Kingsley Coman due to his hamstring issue.

“Regrettably, Serge Gnabry will be sidelined again. He felt discomfort, and it’s a hamstring injury,” Tuchel disclosed to reporters after the match at the Emirates.

Bayern is scheduled to host Cologne in the league this Saturday.
