Their advancement came after both teams triumphed over their adversaries in the second-leg matches of the preliminary stage, held on Tuesday.
Joining them in the next round are Liberia and South Sudan, who also clinched progression despite stalemates in their second-leg encounters, also contested on Tuesday.

Eswatini held Somalia to a 2-2 draw at the Mbombela Stadium in Nelspruit, South Africa, sealing their passage with a commanding 5-2 aggregate scoreline, courtesy of their resounding 3-0 win in the initial leg.
Meanwhile, Chad secured a 2-1 victory over Mauritius at the National Sports Complex Pitch 1 in Saint Pierre, advancing with a 3-1 aggregate score.
Liberia managed a goalless draw against Djibouti at the Samuel Kanyon Doe Stadium in Monrovia, securing progression with a 2-0 aggregate scoreline following their triumph in the first leg.
Similarly, South Sudan played out a goalless draw against Sao Tome and Principe in Berkane, Morocco. They progressed to the next round via the away goals rule, having secured a crucial away goal in the initial leg, which ended 1-1.
With their advancement confirmed, Chad, Eswatini, Liberia, and South Sudan now set their sights on the subsequent phase of the qualifiers, where they will join the 44 exempted nations for the group stage of the competition.
