It is rumored that Osimhen, who was Serie A’s top scorer last season, is enthusiastic about a potential move to the Premier League with Chelsea being his preferred destination, which has facilitated smooth negotiations on personal terms.

“Victor Osimhen remains a key target for Chelsea to reinforce their attack,” Galetti stated via his Twitter account. “Securing an agreement with the player is not expected to be problematic, given his desire to join Chelsea Football Club. Negotiations with Napoli mainly revolve around the payment terms, as the club is ready to meet his release clause.”

Chelsea has encountered difficulties in scoring goals this season despite significant investments in player acquisitions, underscoring the urgent need for a dependable goal-scorer in their squad.

Osimhen’s impressive track record, which includes helping Napoli clinch the Serie A title last season with 31 goals across all competitions, positions him as the ideal candidate to address Chelsea’s scoring woes.

The 25-year-old Nigerian striker has already amassed 13 goals across all competitions this season, and his potential arrival could represent a substantial improvement for Chelsea, offering a reliable and long-term solution in the attacking department.
